As of this evening, April 30, 2014, Deniece Cornejo, Jed Fernandez, Ferdinand Guerrero and Jose Paolo Calma are still at large, but according to some reports, the TV and print ad model Deniece is willing to surrender to the NBI and prove her innocence in the proper forum. The group had already been encouraged by DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima to surrender after the arrest of the alleged mastermind Cedric Lee and his co-accused Zimmer Raz in Oras, Eastern Samar last week.

Reports said Deniece was also in the resort where Cedric and Zimmer harbored for almost a week, based on the latest and updated report, the group including a woman which according to the caretaker of the resort was Deniece, arrived in the area a few days before the authorities arrested Zimmer and Cedric. Aside from Deniece, there are also reports claiming that Jed Fernandez is also willing to surrender to the NBI, but as of this evening, the authorities are still searching their whereabouts.

Incidentally, Jed was one of the subjects of conversation of Tony Calvento and Buzz Ng Bayan host Boy Abunda last Sunday. Based on the revelation of Tony Calvento, a friend of Jed approached him and said Jed is willing to tell the truth behind the mauling of actor-TV host Vhong Navarro, but for some reasons, Jed decided to quit after his conversation with DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima.

After hearing the report, some observers took to their social media accounts and expressed their disappointments on Jed's decision. They said the "Gentle Giant" should not afraid to tell the truth and turn the tables against Cedric Lee and the others involved in the incident because he will be guided and maybe escorted by the authorities, but despite the encouragement and the kind words from his possible supporters, Jed stopped and decided to hide.
