You guys have read the updated reports in the Vhong Navarro-Cedric Lee case this morning, April 21, 2014. According to ABS-CBN News, the arrest warrants for serious illegal detention case had been issued by Judge Paz Esperanza Cortez of the Taguig Regional Trial Court last Wednesday, but because of the lenten season, the court decided to implement the warrants just now.
The arrest warrants are now being served by the authorities to Cedric Lee and his cohorts, and based on an updated report of TV Patrol, Cedric is still at large because the NBI couldn't find his whereabouts. In an interview with reporters last week, Atty. Howard Calleja, lawyer of Denece and Cedric, confirmed that he will surrender his clients when the court issued arrest warrants against them.
He also said that all of them are willing to face the charges filed by Vhong Navarro. Meanwhile, DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima revealed on national television a while ago that someone from the camp of Cedric Lee is very much willing to surrender and if possible, to become a state witness.
Based on the secretary's revelation, the guy is ready to give the details of the "Oplan Bugbog," the secretary also confirmed that the guy is really afraid of his life. Before this issue came out, the very brave print and broadcast journalist, Tony Calvento, updated his official Facebook page, according to him, one of the men accused in the Vhong Navarro case is willing to turn the tables against Cedric Lee.
He also added that the guy's co-accused who had already fled the country is willing to comeback and reveal the truth behind the mauling incident that happened in a condominium unit last Jan. 22 if things are going well. With the secretary and Tony's revelations, the netizens suspect that these guys who have managed to talk to Tony Calvento are Jose Paolo Calma and Jed Fernandez because of the clues given by the broadcast journalist a while ago on his official Facebook page.
"Meantime, Bernice Lee hasn't been issued a warrant and we're still trying to determine the reason for this. JP Calma allegedly fled the country," Tony Calvento posted.
