Veterans' Remembrance Day to be held at Atlanta History Center

During Memorial Day weekend, The Atlanta History Center will host an event honoring United States veterans. Veterans’ Remembrance Day will be Sunday, May 30 from noon to 5 pm. Veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and other conflicts will be honored. Select veterans will share stories of their experiences serving their country in the armed forces. Historic interpreters will also be dressed in military uniform, and showcasing military vehicles and equipment.

 Visitors on Memorial Day weekend seeking other patriotic exhibits may want to visit the Centennial Olympic Games Museum (housed inside The Atlanta History Center) and Turning Point: The American Civil War.
 
Admission to this event is included in the price of admission to the Atlanta History Center, and is free to members of The Atlanta History Center.
