Tennessee is known as the Volunteer State, and Knoxville has had its share of men and women go off to war for Flag and Country.
Now we learn from Fort Smith Gun Rights Examiner Steve Jones of a veteran who has administratively lost his Second Amendment rights.
This veteran, Wayne Irelan, was declared, with the stroke of a bureaucratic pen, a prohibited person. This means that Irelan may no longer own or possess a firearm, under Federal law.
It gets worse. No one who lives in his home may own or possess a firearm there. So, by extension, his family members have become prohibited persons, thus denied the best tool to provide for their own defense against unlawful aggression.
So, veterans, if you find yourself being asked by the Veterans Administration to sign any documents assigning anyone as a guardian of your checkbook or anything else . . . BEWARE!

This is simply an example of the LIEbral axiom that NO CITIZEN should be allowed to have arms as then it becomes possible for someone that the elitists don't care for to get access to the weapon. They firmly believe that YOU are TOO EVIL, TOO STUPID, or BOTH, to have access to any tool that would impede their ability to control and direct the destiny of all mankind as THEY are the "ONLY ONES" smart enough, good enough, wise enough to be entitled to have any say in YOUR LIFE. THEY believe that THEY have the RIGHT, DUTY AND OBLIGATION to CONTROL everyone else because they are superior in all ways to you or you would think just like they do.
ABRACADABRA! Constitutional Rights..... POOOF!
This is sick!
But it is happening all over the country!
In Illinois if you go to the emergency room and some one walks in and asks how you’re doing and you respond you may loose your FOID card. Those knock and talk visits are actually done by a hospital psychologist and they are then reported to the Illinois State police as a mental health evaluation.
If you go to the doctor’s office and are asked questions like
Are you stressed?
Do you feel threatened?
Do want to hurt someone?
If you answer yes to any of those questions you lose your God given right to own a gun
Liston this story as struck a nerve with me. I don’t like it when people start demonizing veterans.
I want people to understand the law that demonizes veterans was supported by the NRA.
GOA started calling the Bill “The Veterans Disarmament Act” the bill was the brain child anti-gun representative from NY (D) McCarthy.
McCarthy tried for several years to get the bill passed when she called it the “Lady of Peace Act”
When McCarthy re-introduced the bill the NRA for some reason came out in support of it.
If I remember right Chris Cox said they supported the bill because the NRA was against people with mental health problems from owning firearms
McCarthy even bragged that the NRA supported her bill.
Now veterans are losing their rights many times for nothing more than seeking help for sleepless nights
Got something to say?
