There is no way that the hunt for former Los Angeles police officer and Navy veteran, Christopher Dorner is going to end well. With the deaths of three people on his conscience, including one police officer, his incentive for being captured alive has likely tanked.
In fact, the following message directly from his manifesto posted on Facebook, could be read as a “final notice.”
To my friends listed below, I wish we could have grown old together and spent more time together. When you reminisce of our friendship and experiences, think of that and that only. Do not dwell on my recent actions the last few days. This was a necessary evil that had to be executed in order for me to obtain my NAME back. The only thing that changes policy and garners attention is death.
For some who have read the manifesto in its entirety, either suicide or “suicide by cop” is seen as the most probable outcome following his spree of revenge killings.
After posting his pages-long rant on Facebook (his Timeline is still active) Dorner is alleged to have killed an unnamed police officer in Riverside, Calif., Monica Quan, 28, daughter of retired LAPD Capt. Randy Quan, and Monica Quan’s fiancé, Keith Lawrence, 27.
Right now, more than 100 personnel from multiple law enforcement agencies have joined the manhunt for Dorner which is focusing on the San Bernardino Mountains’ Big Bear region of Southern California.
