Veterans Memorial Monument at the Town Hall of Miami Lakes

The Veterans Memorial Monument will be a public art honoring those men and women that had fought in the war, and will be at the entrance of the new Town of Hall of Miami Lakes, also, being incorporating the interior wall in the lobby of the new building facility. It will be a historic landmark to be remembered without any doubt.

Professional fine artists, sculptures of all media, architects, have been called to participated of this important and beautiful project that the Dade County had commissioned and it will be located at 67th avenue in the hearth of the main street of Miami Lakes, Florida.
The public art committee that will have the responsibility to recommend, will be choosing between 32 participant artists with the best of their knowledge, experience in the field, and showing impartiality, professionalism with the only interest of helping, volunteering their time to the community where they live.


The mission is to select the candidates based on theirs curriculum vitae, educational background, past experience in public building and designing public art; dealing with the budgets assigned. Selected artists will submit the proposals, explaining the project, materials that they will use and why they consider the art, theirs best proposals for the Veteran Memorial Monument, transmitting courage, love, passion and wisdom for more of what heroic symbolism permits and inspires. The creative concept is free also but the materials that they will use to construct it, must be done with durable materials, and environmental proportions established. Then, the selected artist will complete the project and finish the masterpiece of art by May 2013, approximately. Do not lose the track of it.
