Today’s Weather Synopsis…

High pressure will continue to control our weather today with very warm temperatures and moderate humidity levels. Some clouds will begin to increase tonight as a cold front approaches from the north and west.

The weak frontal boundary will drop south through the region on Wednesday, but with limited forcing and plenty of warm air aloft, there is only a slight chance of a spotty afternoon shower or thunderstorm. High pressure will then build in from the Great Lakes on Thursday, bringing slightly cooler and less humid conditions behind the front into late week. A slow-moving cold front will then approach into the Labor Day weekend and become stationary, bringing a return to humid conditions and unsettled weather for the holiday.
