Very Special Teen Opportunity

Press release from OMRF “Teen Leaders in Philanthropy,” sponsored by the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, will offer top student leaders from area high schools the opportunity to meet philanthropic leaders and learn more about nonprofit organizations and how giving impacts their communities.

“This program is for students with an interest in philanthropy or who plan to establish a career in business or with a nonprofit agency,” said Kelley McGuire, OMRF director of development and TLP coordinator.

Applicants must be: rising FALL 2013 Highschool Sophomore, Junior, Senior

Be in academic good standing, attending an Oklahoma school. ( Statewide program)

No more than 3 students from any school

Must attend mandatory Sept10 retreat, and scheduled Tuesday sessions throughout School Term 2013-2014

Program will complete May 13, 2014.

Deadline for written application is March 10, 2013 www.omrf.org/teen.
