A large area of high pressure extends from the upper Mid West, southeast through the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley, and into the Mid Atlantic states. Over the weekend, this feature will slide southeast across our area maintaining dry conditions with plenty of sunshine expected.
The dry and pleasant weather is expected to last through Memorial Day. Temperatures will gradually warm through Monday.

Extended Analysis: High pressure will move to our southeast Monday night, allowing a warm front to lift northward across the area. Clouds will increase early Monday night, with showers and thunderstorms possible after midnight.
The warm front will move to our north Tuesday morning. A cold front will move southeastward across the area Tuesday afternoon or evening bringing another round of showers and thunderstorms.
High pressure will build back across our area Wednesday and Thursday bringing sunshine and dry conditions along with comfortable temperatures.
