Veronica Mars” is back, thanks to Kickstarter, the series’ fans, Kristen Bell and creator Rob Thomas, whose perseverance made the movie a reality with nearly $6 million, according to a Jan. 3 Entertainment Weekly report.

The first trailer for the movie of the hit series was released this week, and Kristen Bell, aka Veronica is still front and center as a successful attorney with an easy on the eyes boyfriend, the New York Daily News reports. But fans should not rule out ex-boyfriend Logan Echolls, who gets more help from Veronica, one of the people who believe he is not a murderer.

Expect to see Amanda Noret’s character Madison and Enrico Colantoni’s Keith. The “Veronica Mars” movie is simply called just that, and reunites the old cast at Neptune’s high school 10 year reunion.

“Veronica Mars” premieres on March 14, 2014, and also features Tina Majorino, Francis Capra, Jerry O’Connell, Sam Huntington, Ken Marino, Krysten Ritter and James Franco, among many others.

The original television series aired on UPN and the CW for three seasons from 2004-2007.
