The biggest Kickstarter campaign ever is by far for Veronica Mars Forbes reported March 14, 2013. According to Kickstarter, 45, 534 fans of the (then) teenage sleuth donated $1 million in just four hour, over $3 million in just two days into the campaign. And the number just keeps growing. Rob Thomas the creator of the show, started this Kickstarter campaign that's breaking records left and right.
The show starring Kristen Bell ran for three seasons, showcasing a teenager, who checked out clues and solved mysteries. It was cancelled in 2007 amid a flurry of anger and confusion from fans. It started off at UPN and then with a merger, the show ended on the now CW.
Bell said to their fans online:
"You have banded together like the sassy little honey badgers you are and made this possibility happen."
