Vermont Ranks 5th Nationwide for Graduation Rates from Higher Ed Institutions

The National Student Clearinghouse conducts a survey of graduation rates for every state. Their findings placed Vermont in the top 10% at number five nationwide. This indicates the strong value placed on education, helping graduates to find employment upon graduation.

The University of Vermont graduation rate for its six year program is 76%, 18 points higher than the national average. The six year program includes post graduate and doctoral programs Graduation rates from four year programs is at 65%. This is 36 percentage points higher than the national average.

Statewide, 73.9% of students who began in 2007 graduated in 2013.This includes undergraduate and post graduate programs.
