Maple syrup and beautiful countryside are among the natural wonders of Vermont. Medical marijuana is also at the top of this list.

If you live in Vermont and desire protection under the state’s medical marijuana registry, you must first obtain a doctor’s recommendation. At this time, there are no compassion clinics in Vermont, so the recommendation must come from your private physician.

Once your doctor signs off on your application, simply forward it to the Vermont Marijuana Registry with $50 and once approved, you will be protected to possess up to two ounces of usable marijuana. At this time there are no dispensaries or co-ops in Vermont, however caregivers do exist under the rules of the program.
