Verizon has shared the in-store classes are interactive and hands-on. These sessions will help users feel comfortable with their new devices not only in the learning session, but when they return home as well. Verizon data experts are on hand for each class. They answer individual questions around apps, usage, and the devices themselves.
The Getting Started with Android devices course covers hardware functions, setting up email, connecting to social network accounts, mastering device features, customizing your device, and more. This course is around 60 minutes in length.
The iPhone 4S workshop covers what's new with iPhone 4S, navigating and customizing your device, setting up email, using the camera & camcorder functions, getting the most out of Siri, the Notification Center, iCloud and more. This course is also 60 minutes long.
The other in-store workshop focuses on the iPhone 5. Besides talking about what is new with the iPhone 5, Verizon covers, using features like Maps, Siri, Facebook, Photo Stream, Passbook and more. There is also a focus on the benefits of iOS 6 and using accessories to help you get the most out of your devices. This course is 60 minutes long.
