Vergara surrogate baby preparations. A report posted today at the New York Post says Modern Family star Sofia Vergara is preparing for a baby with fiancé Nick Loeb. Sources say Sofia Vergara asked a close friend to be the surrogate for their child, and the NY Post reports "the process is in its extremely early stages."
“The child will be biologically Sofia and Nick’s baby, and she has selected a surrogate — who is a very close girlfriend — to carry the baby. A procedure has taken place, and Sofia and Nick will find out in a few weeks if it was successful, if the surrogate is pregnant, and if they will become parents.”
The source reveals the couple have been wanting a baby for a while, adding Nick has been "pushing" Vergara for a child. Loeb is apparently nervous about Sofia's close friend acting as the surrogate, "but is very excited about becoming a father.”
Vergara, 41, and Nick, 37, have been dating for three years, and Vergara already has a 21-year-old son named Manolo.
