According to Movie Pilot on Dec. 6, around the five second mark in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" film trailer was a brief look at the list of server names at the Oscorp facility. Apparently if someone were to look closely and perceptively enough, one could see a label by the name of Venom Storage.

Among other technologies spotted in the trailer like Doctor Octopus' tentacle actuators and Vulture's wings, it appears that an additional piece of evidence of Venom's presence in the film. The movie poster already shows him opposing a multitude of enemies, so it seems that an additional villainous morsel is being added to Peter Parker's plate. At this point, no one will no for sure unless they see the movie.

Director Marc Webb is apparently following the story line in the comic books entailing his love interest Gwen Stacey played by Emma Stone, so one could only wonder what the future may hold for the franchise.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is scheduled to be in theaters on May 2, 2014.
