Vendor entries due January 20th for Dodge County tack swap

The arrival of winter weather in Wisconsin means it’s time to clean out tack rooms, horse trailers and saddle storage spots. Why not sell some unused equestrian equipment and apparel, and rack up some funds for the upcoming horse show season?

Are you a crafter, who loves to make horse-related handicrafts? Maybe you’re looking for a suitable sale to showcase your wares.

The Dodge County Horsemen’s Association (DCHA) is holding its 2012 tack swap and craft sale on Saturday, February 4th. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Juneau Community Center, located at 500 Lincoln Drive, in Juneau, Wisconsin (approximately 50 miles northeast of Madison).

This annual DCHA tack swap and craft sale features plenty of horse tack, saddles, bridles, horse show clothes, equestrian gifts, homemade fancies, door prizes and much more.

A silent auction has been added this year, with proceeds helping to defray the costs of installing electricity in the Northern Kettle Moraine facilities, frequented by Wisconsin’s equestrian trail riders. DCHA members are collecting donations for the silent auction.
