Vegrandis 2013 is the second annual fundraising gala for the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures. The funds raised from the gala will be used to help fund the museum's Sizing Up the World initiative, which strives to provide outreach and field trip programs for every 2nd grade student in Pima County. The gala will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2013, at the museum.
The Vergrandis 2013 event will be paired with the museum's fall temporary exhibit called "Netsuke and Diminutive Carvings from Japan." The will feature traditional Japanese and American food, sake, and other beverages. Activities will include local artist performances, a silent auction, raffle, and photo booth.
The tickets for Vegrandis 2013 will be $60 if purchased by October 15, 2013. The ticket price will then go up to $75. There is also an option to be a Lantern Luminary for $100, which includes a $40 tax deductible donation that will help send 12 2nd graders to the museum.
