VeggieTales celebrates 20th anniversary of ministry to children

It's a very Veggie birthday as Bob and Larry and the entire VeggieTales cast celebrate 20 years of entertaining and teaching children valuable lessons of life that they can relate to and understand.

Developed by Big Idea Entertainment, VeggieTales was created by Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki, who also provide many of the character's voices. The series, which features animated fruits and vegetables, debuted on December 21, 1993.

Since 1993, the creators of VeggieTales have been entertaining and inspiring children all over the world and helping them discover that God created them and loves them very much with over 50 million videos in the series over the years. Releases include: "VeggieTales: Lord of the Beans," "Duke and the Great Pie War", and "Sumo of the Opera."

For the past two decades, VeggieTales has presented a mix of family-friendly humor, fun stories and classic silly songs like “The Hairbrush Song,” “His Cheeseburger,” “I Love My Lips” and “Song of Cebu,” to name a few.
