Vegetarian dining is easy at Walt Disney World (Photos)

Eating out when you are a vegetarian is not always easy. Finding vegetarian options while traveling can be even more difficult. Fortunately the chefs at Walt Disney World in Florida understand that. Most of the restaurants have vegetarian options right on the menu. If there is nothing that is obviously meat free chances are that something can be made that will fit into your dining habits.

Vegetarian dining is so common at the Disney restaurants that you do not need to call ahead of time to alert the restaurant like you do with other special dietary requests. If you are dining at a full service restaurant, ask your server what is available for vegetarians. Some of the menu items that appear vegetarian might have chicken stock or another non-veggie option so it is best to let your server know your dining preferences as soon as you are seated.

If you are eating at a counter service restaurant the vegetarian options are sometimes listed on the menu board. If they aren't you will want to ask the cast member who is taking the order what the vegetarian options are. There are plenty of counter service restaurants that serve veggie burgers, cheese pizza and vegetable wraps but there are other delicious choices as well. You should easily be able to find a satisfying meal.
