Everyone loves a trip to Las Vegas. On Feb. 7, Huffington Post reported that a Las Vegas theater shooting last night left three people injured. It was near the UA Showcase 8 theater. Will crime like this keep you from going back on a trip?
It happened outside a Las Vegas Strip movie theater even though rumors came out that it was in the lobby. They have not identified the shooter at this time, but they do not think it was a random act of violence either. They think that an ongoing conflict there between two groups is what caused the shooting.
Two victims were in critical condition and taken to the hospital. Another victim had a minor injury and was just treated at the scene and then went home shortly after.
USA Today reports that they are still unsure how many shooters there were, but that multiple shots were fired so it is possible there was more than one. Hopefully more information will be available soon on this terrible tragedy.
