June 7, 2014, Boulevard Pool venue at the Cosmopolitan Hotel Las Vegas, the house was packed as Kid Rock performed in old school, all American party-fest style, and he chose the perfect venue to do it at. Drink, food, pool, summer air with general admission, and unless you bought a table up top, you were on your feet, but really, who wants to be sitting down at a Kid Rock concert? Perfect. Tight, connected, it was an awesome crowd, waving their arms to the music and having a blast.
Kid Rock, on his Rebel Soul tour, was charismatic, giving it everything he had, as he sang all of his best and greatest hits like 'Devil without a Cause', 'Rock n' Roll Jesus', 'All Summer Long', even donning a cowboy hat for 'Cowboy'. It was exciting and amazing when Kid exhibited his mad DJ skills, smoking a stogie and shooting a shot of Jim Beam's Devils Cut, whilst doing special spin tricks. He was humbling when he showed a video of what he was grateful for, the beauty of each day, the American farmer and laborer, the soldiers, and reminding people they can accomplish their dreams. Kid Rock thanked the folks in the audience for 'spending their hard earned dollars' to come to the concert. Kid Rock ended the night in a super pumped rendition of 'Bawitdaba'. Truly an amazing, inspiring, must see artist, at a great venue. It was a most incredible pool party.
