With the economy still sputtering, Las Vegas properties are still keeping their rates low. In fact, there are some where you'll basically be making money as soon as you step in the door.

The Monte Carlo and New York-New York have rooms starting as low as $45.95 per night. With that, you also get 25 percent off spa services, a pair of tickets for Zumanity (where one ticket starts at around $76) or Frank Caliendo (starting at about $49) for $99, half off bottle service at Rok Nightclub or the Zowie Bowie show at the Monte Carlo's pub, and at the Monte Carlo, two free "welcome" cocktails.

The deal is good through Feb. 1 and reservations can be made at the Monte Carlo website or by calling 866-934-1242 and asking for the City-2-City promotion.
