Vegas brings Idol contestants bad luck

It's really unclear if the American Idol judges were drunk in Vegas on Wednesday night as they chose the final 5 female contestants to go on in the competition. It seemed Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, and Randy Jackson had more than a difficult time hearing who could sing on stage and who is a hoot at karaoke parties.

One of the most awkward moments on last night's show was that of Juliana Chahayed, who did her own version of Demi Lovato's “Skyscraper.” She got a great response from the crowd as her own unique style shined through. However, when she spoke to Ryan Seacrest after her performance and he mentioned Lovato, Juliana replied, “My vocal coach told me to sing a song I don't like.” She went on to say that she took the song and made it something she wanted to sing. It seemed as though she was making a little pass at the pop star. Seacrest just smiled and replied, “I'm sure Demi will be happy to hear that.” Demi does currently have a smash hit out with “Heart Attack,” while Juliana ultimately got sent home. Maybe she could learn a thing or two from Ms. Lovato after all.

Tonight the judges send the top five guys on to join Zoanette, Aubrey, Candice, Breanna, Janelle for the fan vote. Hopefully the judges ears will be open to real talent this evening.
