Las Vegas: 98 arrests result from union protest

Everyone loves a great trip to Las Vegas. On March 21, Yahoo reported that 98 arrests happened in Las Vegas today from a union protest.

These protesters blocked traffic to protest against the Cosmopolitan casino. They were all wearing red union shirts and holding signs in the pictures from the scene today. The workers were yelling that if they can't get a contract then nobody can get any peace.

Cosmopolitan spokeswoman Amy Rossetti said they are still negotiating and trying to work things out with the workers. One person even said they got arrested to send a message to management. They want a contract for their work and right now it looks like things are not going that way for them.

They believe that they might not have a union contract because they are planning to sell the casino, but they are not sure about it. Are you shocked that they will not just set up a contract? Sound off in the comments.
