Have you been kicking around a vegan-based business concept? Or are you already running a vegan business and wish you knew more about marketing, networking, and other biz basics?

Portland is fortunate to be one of four North American cities chosen for this year’s series of vegan professional bootcamps. The other three are Colorado Springs, Toronto and Austin.

The five-hour session runs from 12:30 to 6 pm on Saturday, April 6 at the Ambridge Event Center at 1333 NE Martin Luther King. Cost is $75. Participants can expect a combination of lecture, workshop and Q&A with plenty of audience interaction. Topics include building revenue streams, improving your use of social media and becoming a third-party merchant on Amazon.

Vegan Professional Bootcamps is a partnership between Vegan Mainstream and Karine Brighten Events. Vegan Mainstream, owned by Stephanie Redcross of Atlanta, has helped vegan businesses with their marketing since 2009. Karine Brighten Events is a Certified Bay Area Green Business that brings the world environmentally conscious activities, including food competitions, Vegan Earth Day celebrations, grand opening conferences and weddings.
