"We are complete polar opposites that way," Dewan Tatum told People Jan. 22. "Sometimes I can drag him to my vegetarian/vegan restaurants. He politely eats, then promptly goes home and eats what he really wants. Opposites attract!"

In 2012, Channing revealed that he tried being vegan for a while but gave up after gaining weight on the plant-based diet. “I gained weight," he said. "Because I don’t like vegetables, so I basically had to wrap them in bread."

Meanwhile, Jenna has credited her vegan diet and cardio-dance workouts for her stunning 33-pound weight loss just seven weeks after giving birth to daughter Everly in June 2013.

Jenna, who has been vegetarian since age 13, said her daughter's diet is mostly vegetarian, but she'll let Everly decide whether she wants to continue being vegetarian when she gets older. For now, Dewan Tatum's primary focus is Everly's health.

"She eats fruits and veggies and nothing else," said Jenna. "I just want her to be healthy, choose healthy food habits. We'll let her decide."

For now, the Tatums are basking in the glow of new parenthood. "There's lots of music on and lots of laughter [in our home]," she said. "It's great."
