Are you a sports fan? Do you love attending live sporting events in the Los Angeles area? I bet if you are, you have had quite the experience finding healthy vegan and vegetarian food at concession stands. Sure, fans can find french fries but if you're looking for more substantial bites, here is a short list of sporting venues that offer vegetarian/vegan meals:

Staples Center (1111 S Figueroa St Los Angeles, CA 90015)

  • Home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the LA Clippers, Staples Center has quite a few vegan meals available, including the Hummus and Pita Plate, Garden Salad, and Grilled Veggie Sandwich (available at Outtakes Quick Cuisine in the Main Concourse Concession Stand) both veggie and cheese pizzas available at California Pizza Kitchen, the "Sloppy Jane" (vegan take on the classic Sloppy Joe) available at the Shock Top Lounge.

Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave Los Angeles, CA 90012

  • Jumbo Veggie Dogs, tostada salads, and a Vegan Sloppy Joe are good bets for at least semi-healthy meals. Another plus to this historic park is that they allow you to bring your own food.

Angels Stadium (2000 E Gene Autry Way Anaheim, CA 92806)

  • A Black Bean Burger, veggie wrap, bean burrito, veggie chili, and vegetable Sushi rolls make this Orange County staple the friendliest to vegans. There are also plenty of salad and fruit options available.

Citizens Business Bank Arena (4000 E Ontario Center Pkwy Ontario, CA 91764)

This arena boasts quite a long vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu (unfortunately, the majority of these choices are available only to suite-ticket holders or to those in the box seats. Peruse the menu here
