Season two of "Vanderpump Rules" began with Kristen Doute revealing that her long-time boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, cheated on her. As the season progressed, their constant bickering, fueled by her inability to fully forgive him, seemed to signal the end of their relationship. Despite all the drama however, they've remained together. In a video interview posted by OK! magazine on Monday, Jan. 20, Kristen and Tom revealed what actually keeps them together despite all the hardships.

Tom implied that as things got hard and people told them to separate, that just made him and Kristen want to stick together even more

"We really felt like our relationship has been under attack by a lot of people...in a way it's brought us closer together," he said.

Tom believes that all their fighting just shows how much they love each other.

"You see people that really love each other that just, they seem to fight more because of, they care so much about each other," he said.

Tom also revealed that he and pal Tom Schwartz, boyfriend of Katie Maloney, even before signing on to the first season of "Vanderpump Rules," hoped that their girlfriends would change for the better after seeing how they behave on camera.

While Tom and Kristen are doing better, Kristen still has some battling to do. She has been fighting back against people who say that she deserved to be cheated on by her boyfriend.

"it blows my mind how many people think that anyone "deserves" to be cheated on," she tweeted on Monday, Jan. 20.
