“Vanderpump Rules” star Lisa Vanderpump may enjoy watching her employees' personal drama play out on the show, but viewers barely see the staff actually working. The show centers on a couple of the employees that work at Lisa's restaurant SUR, but the cameras only seem to get the drama that happens in the back of the restaurant or sometimes in front of customers. So, are they truly waiters or are they just present in the restaurant while filming a reality show to boost their careers? According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report released on Mar. 9, “Vanderpump Rules” star Lisa Vanderpump defends her staff, and they proved themselves during a recent interview as they were tested in some of the products served by SUR.
“While our show is airing, I’m saying that over and over again, slaving away at SUR,” Stassi revealed while sharing all of the sides offered at SUR and gave the entire menu on a Monday night. Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval didn't quite do as well on the drinks menu, but it sounds like they are still working at SUR regardless. And of course, mistakes happen as Jax recalls. “I couldn’t find the house cab, so I’m like this looks good!” he said of serving a $700 per bottle Cabernet instead of the house wine. “I served it as a $12 glass of wine. Lisa and Ken did not like that.”
