Saturday's 2013 NCAA football live stream and television schedule will feature several of the top 25 teams in action as they look to improve upon their current records. One of these teams will be the #13 South Carolina Gamecocks, as they host the Vanderbilt Commodores. A loss in this latest TV and live stream college football game could find South Carolina out of the SEC championship picture very early in the season.
According to ESPN's report on Sept. 14, the Gamecocks suffered their first loss of the season last weekend, losing 41-30 to the Georgia Bulldogs. Now, South Carolina will look towards today's game to get back on track and attempt to earn their first victory in the SEC conference. Vanderbilt will look to do the same, also starting out 0-1 in conference, losing in their game to Ole Miss 39-35 back on Aug. 29. Some believe that South Carolina will be an even tougher opponent, although the Gamecocks coach wants to see vast improvement.
South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier said of his team's performance last week heading into this game:
"There's nothing embarrassing about losing as long as you play smart and play with a lot of effort. We didn't do those two things.
We didn't look very good. We're going to try to get our guys lined up in the right place and let them go play. See if we can play a lot better."
Part of playing better could fall on defensive end Jadeveon Clowney who has just one sack so far in two games, and struggled to get to the Georgia QB last weekend. Clowney said after the game, "It's hard out there trying to chase from the backside, and they just took me right out of the game. They want to move me around, that's up to them."
Heading into today's game, the South Carolina Gamecocks are favored to win by about 13 points. The over/under is currently set at 48 points combined for the two teams. As for the weather in Columbia, South Carolina, temperatures should range from the low 60's to low 80's during the day, with a 20% chance of precipitation. The game will be played in Williams-Brice Stadium in front of plenty of rowdy Gamecocks football fans.
Tonight's Vanderbilt vs. South Carolina football game has a start time of 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. ESPN will present the game on TV for cable and satellite viewers. Various cable/satellite service providers are also aligned with the WatchESPN service, which will allow fans to watch the game live streaming online.
