As we get geared up for the fun of March Madness in Nashville, we will be missing one of our favorite teams in the match-ups. The Vanderbilt Commodores basketball team experienced a loss in their game against Ole Miss in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament in Nashville on Saturday.
The SEC Tournament was held at the local Bridgestone Arena and we saw all of the out-of-town basketball teams from colleges all around us come here to play and to fight to the finish for the SEC title.
We are friends with Vanderbilt University Athletics on Facebook and this is the note posted from them telling us the news:
"Vanderbilt's run in the SEC Tournament ended Saturday with a 64-52 loss to Ole Miss in the semifinals".
Now the college basketball tournaments and March Madness continue on without the Vanderbilt Commodores involved, but we are bringing you some photos of their recent game, just to keep you in touch with the team.
