Van Jones
Longtime observers of the Washington scene predict that Van Jones, who serves as President Barack Obama's so-called "Green Jobs Czar," will be out of a job before this Monday, September 7, 2009.
As I've reported here at Examiner.com for some time, Van Jones is a self-admitted communist who was arrested briefly during the "Rodney King riots"; he's says he "doesn't care what the facts are" regarding the "science" of global warming, and he admits that he and the administration aren't sure "what 'green jobs' are" but are determined to create millions of them regardless.
In the course of the last couple of days alone, Jones has been caught on tape calling Republicans "a-holes" (for which he later apologized) and now, Jones has been revealed as a so-called "9/11 Truther" -- someone who ascribes to the bizarre conspiracy theory that President Bush orchestrated the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on America that left close to 3,000 people dead.
Van Jones's old radical group Color for Change launched a largely unsuccessful boycott of Glenn Beck's program on FOX News because of Beck's relentless ongoing exposes of Jone's radical ideas. Beck has wondered aloud how such a dubious individual ever passed the FBI background check presumably required to work inside the White House.
Now it seems as if "crazy" Glenn Beck is being vindicated.
Such sober, respected commentators as Charles Krauthammer are now predicting that Jones will be forced to resign now that his twisted beliefs have been exposed for all to see. (Video below).
As I write this, it is the Friday morning before the long Labor Day weekend. That's typically the time when embarrassing news is released by government bureaucracies. I predict that Van Jones will be forced to resign by 6PM ET today.
And blogger Gateway Pundit deserves a Pulitzer Prize for doing the investigative reporting the mainstream media was too timid to do.

Not only is this guy a radical, idiot and kook, but he sounds as if he went to Rev. GD America Wright`s church just as long as Mein Fuhrer Obama did! If he is a racist(and he is), and the good Rev. is a racist(also is),doesn`t that mean Beck might not be wrong in accusing our (so-called) President of being one too?Because if he`s not,that means his vetting process is beyond flawed and he`s obviously incompetant! So is our president a radical, or just plain STUPID?
And now it comes out that Van Jones joined a "Truther" group in Jan. 2002- So Van Jones is lying, which is even worse.

Thanks for the perspective--it's good to keep in mind that no matter how wacky some of Jones' beliefs may be, he could never keep pace with folks like you.
And it's ironic that "Truthers" are an issue here, since (like Birthers) are largely rightwingers.
The next thing to watch for will be "disappearing" information from google and other resources so that the next time it will be harder to find out the background of political appointees.
This guy is a real life nutjob. "Out of a job" should be his address for a long time.
Is it not disgusting enough to have a radical communist, Van Jones, as a handpicked advisor to the Leader of the Free World but now we find out he is a psycho 9/11 'Truther' too. He believes the U.S. Government was responsible for 9/11. That we fired a missile at the Pentagon. That our own Air Force shot down flight 93. etc.
Equally as ridiculous is when Van Jones said:

Race seems to be a part of nearly everything Jones says. Does anyone really believe that white people are intentionally poisoning minorities? Wasn't the Obama administration supposed to be the beginning of a "post-racial" America? Why does he have "special advisors" out there openly attempting to create an even bigger racial divide with hate and lies?

No, the boycott was launched because Beck called Obama a racist, among other things. beck had no idea who Van jones was until after the boycott began.

Anyway, as the previous poster said - your facts are a bit out of sequence. Glenn Beck lost about 20+ advertisers because he accused Obama of racism and later got the wrath of Color for Change.
Savage brought up Van Jones back in April of this year when he was appointed czar. I googled what Savage said and sure enough, he helped found a program in S.F. that was a police watchdog group, i.e., a let's tie their hands group, so the police can't do their job. Another type of social "justice" group. I love how the word "justice" is tossed around nowadays as a code word for reparations of some sort. Anyway, the guy's got to go, along with a few other czars that the press is begining to expose.
how many more guys like this are getting paid by us the hard working tax payers... sickens me that are so called president had the odasity to hire a person like this... but then again this is the kind of people that he has surrounded himself with all his adult life. what a huge mistake it was to elect obama... please resign & move out of the usa since you hate us all so much...

Repugs must be denied any victory no matter how small as punishment for not accepting their LOSER status after the last election. If Repugs won't fire Senator Ensign for whoremastering and adultery, they have no right to ask for anybody in the other party to be fired. Sarah Palin committed ADULTERY says the same National Enquirer people who proved it about DEM John Edwards -- they don't care which party they expose and are not biased either way. If Palin's adultery is OK with repugs then they can just shut their immoral mouths. What about ADULTERER governor Sanford who flies by tax-paid air taxi to his dentist appointment or picnics? Van jones gone good - how unbelievable "O" thinking he could put anyone of his criminal friends in charge of an 80billion $ budget - now we have to go thru all the other "possible commie czar's" that we the tax payers are paying the wages of.
