On Friday, following a spectacular show at Red Rocks, the official Vampire Weekend after-party took place at Lipgloss with swag giveaways and drink specials ($2 PBRs, $2 Gin-and-tonics and $3 Vodkas all night long). Patrons with concert ticket stubs were even treated to a free drink.
Other giveaways included tickets to Jamie Lidell and the official !!! (Chk Chk Chk) after-party at Larimer Lounge, as well as this weekend's Midnight Madness movie Army of Darkness.
At midnight, a local electro/hip-hop duo Jonathan and BPro performed a special live set prepared for Lipgloss, with video projection by Cartoon Dogs. Afterwards, resident DJs boyhollow and Chase Dobson took over for the remainder of the night.
