"The Vampire Diaries" aired an all-new episode on Channel 6 in Tempe last night. On last night's episode, Stefan and Elena shared a few moments alone together, and their relationship did come up on more than one occasion. However, the pair is not headed back together anytime soon. Paul Wesley did talk about the possibility of a reunion for the original couple on the series though. He said the following, according to From Inside The Box:
"The key to Stefan and Elena as far as I'm concerned is time and distance. The more you keep them away from one another, the less Stefan is trying to help Elena, trying to fix Elena, trying to run after her and pick up everything she drops -- the more she just screws up on her own, he screws up on his own, they have all these experiences, and then something maybe happens. That's the only way that Stefan and Elena can be together."
Elena will be off visiting New York City with Damon on the next episode. It will also be the episode where Elena's new look will debut. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
