"The Vampire Diaries' will air an all-new episode on Channel 6 in Tempe on Thursday night. On Tuesday, March 19, Spoiler TV shared the second sneak peek released for "The Vampire Diaries" episode 4.17 titled "Because the Night." This new sneak peek focuses in on Elena and Damon in New York City. The pair have been joined by Rebekah, and they are having fun. Elena wants to know if they are allowed to be doing the things they are doing, and Damon makes it very clear that they are allowed to have fun.
Elena has changed, and the sneak peek also shows her new look. The change in her character is due to the death of her brother Jeremy. After his death, Damon used the sire bond to force her to turn off her humanity. Steven R. McQueen is the actor behind Jeremy Gilbert, and he spoke about dealing with the death of his character in a new interview with FansShare. He said the following:
"Well, they burnt me body, so I think they were saying I’m done. When I found out that I was gonna get killed, I was kinda sad. It wasn’t until it aired, and then people started calling me, like, ‘You’re dead,’ that it kind of really hit me, 'Aw, man this is rough.' But it was a great experience, and I learned a lot from it. … It was a lot of fun."
McQueen also revealed that fans of his could potentially see him on another CW series at some point. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
I am trying really hard to like #Cult, I really am. However, I hope Alaric can somehow be brought back from the dead on #TheVampireDiaries.
"The Vampire Diaries" will continue to air on Channel 6 in Tempe on Thursday nights.
