"Vampire Diaries" season 5, episode 14 is titled "No Exit" and an official synopsis and a few spoilers have been released. On Feb. 7, Wet Paint reported on what fans can expect when the episode airs.
The official synopsis reads,
"As Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) behavior escalates from destructive to deadly, Stefan (Paul Wesley) begins to regret their last conversation and decides to track Damon down and intervene. For reasons of her own, Elena (Nina Dobrev) volunteers to come along. Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) enlists the Travelers to set a trap that will once again test Damon’s friendship with Enzo (guest star Michael Malarkey). After a heart-to-heart talk with Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda), Matt (Zach Roerig) enlists Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) help to protect Elena, leading to a violent confrontation. Later, when Stefan tries to comfort a dejected Caroline, their conversation leads to a horrifying realization."
It doesn't sound like things are going to get any easier. Dr. Wes Maxfied is once again going to go to the Travelers for help, testing Damon's loyalty to Enzo.
Now that Damon has been acting even worse since Wes gave him the serum, Stefan goes to find him and Elena (who is actually Katherine) will accompany him. He is going to look for him not just because of his behavior but because of the guilt he feels from their last conversation. As fans remember, he told him not to return to Mystic Falls.
After Matt speaks to Nadia, he gets Caroline and Tyler's help to protect Elena, which ends up in a violent confrontation. Then when Stefan attempts to comfort Caroline, they talk and end up realizing something awful. Now the question is, what is that horrifying realization and what (if anything) are they going to do about it? Does it have anything to do with figuring out the truth about Elena and Katherine?
"The Vampire Diaries" season 5, episode 14 will air on Feb. 27.
