The promo for "The Vampire Diaries" episode 4x15, "Stand by Me," was released late on Friday, Feb. 14, hinting at some ominous circumstances.
We left off Thursday's episode with Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) lying dead in Silas' cave after the evil immortal being seemingly broke his neck. And now, in the new promo for next week's episode, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) are talking about him in the past tense, and Dr. Fell (Torrey DeVitto) is asking Elena (Nina Dobrev) to "release the body" to her...
So, is Jeremy really gone? In the preview, Elena is also desperately asking for Bonnie (Kat Graham), presumably so she can perform some kind of spell to bring Jeremy back. But, where is Bonnie? Did she make it out alright from the cave after being stabbed by Hunter Vaughn?
According to the latest rumors, especially one from Joseph Morgan (who plays Klaus) himself, it's been confirmed that someone does die an emotional death. However, Joseph also revealed that the character dies next week... Does that mean that Jeremy was still alive before he returned to Mystic Falls? Or will it be Bonnie, who was still alive at the end of last night's episode...
Or, maybe it's someone else all together! We won't know for sure until next week, but in the meantime, you can watch the promo for "Stand by Me" on the player to the left!
