Last week on “The Vampire Diaries,” Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) hunter mark grew, revealing the map that would lead the vampires to the cure they’ve desperately been searching for. On Friday, The CW released a video preview to give viewers a sneak peek at what lies ahead.
The next episode, “Into the Wild,” has Shane (guest star David Alpay) leading Elena (Nina Dobrev), Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Stefan (Paul Wesley), Rebekah (Claire Holt), Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Jeremy to an island off the coast of Nova Scotia where the cure is supposed to be buried with the mysterious Silas.
But major trust issues amongst the group could cause the plan to unravel before they find anything.
Damon doesn’t trust Shane and believes he’s leading them into a trap, even as the professor sheds some light on his past. Rebekah and Elena continue to bitterly fight with one another, leaving Stefan to play peacemaker. Bonnie and Jeremy try to make sense of the hunter’s mark. Will they discover the cure?
