The race for the cure has dominated “The Vampire Diaries” this season and Elena (Nina Dobrev) has a new plan to make sure they find it.
On Friday, The CW released the first preview for the upcoming episode, “A View to a Kill.” In the video, Elena tells Bonnie (Kat Graham) that she wants to have Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) kill Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic). Elena believes that if Jeremy can kill an Original vampire, his map will grow faster since all the vampires Kol has turned over the years will die as well.
Bonnie is skeptical of the plan as Elena and Jeremy prepare to do battle against Kol. But the Original has his own plan. He corners Bonnie at school and warns her that he is not going to let anyone find the cure, even if he has to kill her to make sure that doesn’t happen.
“The Vampire Diaries” airs Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. CST on The CW.
