"The Vampire Diaries" will air on Channel 6 in Tempe tonight. On Wednesday, Jan. 16, Hypable shared new cast photos released promoting the return of the series. Spoilers Guide also shared the latest comments made by Claire Holt about her character on the series. Rebekah is definitely back on tonight's episode, and Claire Holt is sharing more details about her character's return. Holt said the following, according to Spoilers Guide:
"Rebekah gathers Stefan, Elena, and Caroline in the high school and she basically psychologically tortures them. She questions them about the tattoo, and the cure, and Stefan and Elena’s relationship, and it brings some uncomfortable truths to light. It’s definitely going to be much more difficult for Caroline, Elena, and Stefan than it is for Rebekah."
Rebekah is not the only member of the original family returning to Mystic Falls. Kol will also be seen again, and Shane is his target. Holt revealed the following about his return:
"He’s there to help Rebekah get the answers that she wants, and he brings Shane [David Alpay] to the school for questioning as well. The result isn’t too great for Shane."
Rebekah and Klaus won't be close upon her return. Her focus will be on finding the vampire cure, and that will take the series to Nova Scotia. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
