'Vampire Diaries' 4.15 photos and spoilers: A return and death coming (Photos)

"The Vampire Diaries" is currently airing on Channel 6 in Tempe. On Monday, Feb. 4, From Inside The Box shared new spoilers for the series. Spoiler TV also shared the first photos released for "The Vampire Diaries" episode 4.15 titled "Stand by Me." The new photos can be seen in the slide show. On the last episode, fans saw Kol killed off. His death helped Jeremy create his hunter's mark, and now his friends can find the vampire cure. However, fans will see another death before the series takes another break. From Inside The Box revealed the following spoilers for what is coming next on this series:

"We said goodbye to Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) -- and despite a definite theme of resurrection this season, we're hearing that that's the very last we'll see of him in the present day. More bad news? Kol isn't the only character we're going to say goodbye to before the next hiatus. Okay, okay, so we have some good news for fans, too: Stefan's BFF Lexi will appear in another flashback episode this season. And more Lexi is always a good thing."

"The Originals" spin-off also had new spoilers released as well. According to Hypable, the witch for he series has been cast. The witch will be played by Daniella Pineda. She will play Sophie. Hypable shared the following details for the character:

"[Sophie is] a witch whose magic has been silenced but not snuffed. A leader and a sexy, sharp-tongued social force, she is quietly sowing the seeds of a revolution amongst her peers."

Sophie will first appear on the backdoor pilot for "The Originals" set to air on "The Vampire Diaries" on April 25. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

Seriously, I have to wait till Thursday after that episode #TheVampireDiaries

"The Vampire Diaries" will continue to air on Channel 6 in Tempe on Thursday nights.
