'Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters' coming to theaters Valentine's Day 2014

Based on the best selling book series, “Vampire Academy,” written by Richelle Mead, “Blood Sisters” comes to theaters on Friday, February 14, 2014.

Selling more than 8 million copies in 35 countries, the six titles of books known as the “Vampire Academy” book series has collected the souls of fans across the globe.

In “Blood Sisters,” Rose develops a deep connection with her best vampire friend forever, the Princess Lissa. The girls attend a very strict school, only for vampires. Rose’s task is to protect her best friend, the princess.

St. Vladimir’s Academy lies within a Montana forest. Rose is a 17-year-old “dhampir” or half human and half vampire. She is the guardian of the Moroi race of peaceful, mortal vampires that are up against the Strigoi, a race of predatory, immortal vampires.

The fantasy adventure film “Blood Sisters” will be in theaters in February 2014. This film will be the first of a series covering Richelle Mead’s fantasy series. As long as all goes well, the rest of the books will follow in theatrical form.
