Jonathon Cainer conveyed the following in my horoscope, “The most valuable revelations emerge from a mixture of light and shade, transparency and opacity.” Many of you might not seek such entertainment but these words did hit home for me. The topic was, of course, crystals but more philosophically, life.
Polar opposites such as darkness and light and/or opacity and transparency are part of life mystery. Darkness casts shadows that can distort your vision and when this obscurity is unexpected (normally this is the case) it is scary. Anxiety and confusion fuels fear and suddenly you feel blocked. What can you do? How do you push forward?
Give yourself a moment or two of stillness. Take time to breathe. Allow your eyes to adjust and while you’re doing this, go within, follow your intuition; let your instinct surface. This will help clear the murkiness.
What is in this shadow? What lesson does this hardship gift? Consider the circumstances and while doing this, feel your emotions. When you allow them to flow, it will unblock and help free the pain.
Remember, to cast a shadow, there must be light. With a bit of courage and faith, you’ll get through the challenge, and once you do, you’ll discover the light.
The revelations gifted through hardship are your greatest treasures. They are diamonds in the rough, cherish them; they enable growth!
