Valiant Comics is making their way to the Anaheim Convention Center to make their first ever appearance at WonderCon. The programming and exclusives that Valiant is unleashing at the convention are built around their big crossover event, the “Harbinger Wars.” In a press release dated March 20, 2013, Valiant detailed some of their big plans for the convention.
The “Harbinger Wars” begin in April in the pages of “Harbinger Wars” #1. It is a 12-part storyline where Valiant promises no winners only survivors. The “Harbinger Wars” mini-series will serve as the backbone for the crossover with two of Valiant’s hit titles, “Harbinger” and “Bloodshot.” Fans dropping by the Valiant booth (#710) will receive a glimpse into the future of Valiant by picking up the free “Harbinger Wars Sketchbook.”
New York Times best-selling author Joshua Dysart, the writer of “Harbinger” and co-writer on “Harbinger Wars,” will be signing throughout the weekend at the Valiant booth. Be sure to check the schedule.
But the real excitement from Valiant will be Saturday, March 30th at 4:30 pm in room 208 of the convention center at the "Valiant 2013: Harbinger Wars and Beyond" panel. Find out the inside scoop about what puts the Harbingers up against Bloodshot as the “Harbinger Wars” get ready to begin. The panel is hosted by Valiant’s top brass including “Harbinger Wars” orchestrator Dysart, Valiant Publisher Fred Pierce, Valiant CEO & Chief Creative Officer Dinesh Shamdasani, and some special surprise guests.
While you are stopping at the Valiant booth getting your copy of the “Harbinger Wars Sketchbook” and your comics signed by Dysart you will also be able to get your hands on the “Harbinger Wars blue” Valiant t-shirt. This will be made available for the first time at WonderCon.
