Actress Valerie Harper has just released to the media that she has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
The 73-year-old actress of 1970’s sitcom “Rhoda” fame who also starred in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” has been scheduled to talk about her serious carcinoma on the March 11, 2013 TV show “The Doctors.”
There she will discuss her disease with co-host and ER physician Dr. Travis Stork who will address her condition and why it is generally so difficult to treat.
Ms Harper was diagnosed this January with “leptomeningeal carcinomatosis,” a rare and terminal form of brain cancer.
Per E! online, Valerie Harper has been told that she less than three months to live. Pal Mary Tyler Moore has also spoken out about Harper’s diagnosis, telling E! online that she’s absolutely devastated by the news of her friend’s condition.
Valerie herself seems to be in good spirits and has come to terms with her condition, even seemed quite energetic per those who saw her recently. As with everything else, one must always keep an optimistic frame of mind against all odds.
Personally, if I was in Valerie Harper’s position, I would seriously consider alternative nutritional therapies and add a trip to Lourdes in France to pray for a miracle and/or an audience with Brazilian man “John of God” or Joao de Deus, who has been known to successfully cure people with energy healings – even by remote!
