Valentino had quite the New Year's Eve party. The New York Mag reported on Jan. 3 that the Italian fashion designer threw a noisy party. It took place near a ski lodge in Gstaad, Switzerland.
Many of the locals complained about the noise level. Even a couple said they left a note on Valentino's door to keep the noise down. It was reported that there were loud music playing into the early hours of the night. Madonna was the only type of music that the designer played.
Madonna was also there in attendance. Maybe she wanted to play her music instead of top 40 hits. Also in attendance was "Les Miserable" actress, Anne Hathaway.
Valentino and Anne Hathaway have become quite the bosom buddies. The two were seen walking around arm in arm. They also were pictured laughing and smiling on a ski lift.
The New York Post released a statement about party:
A number of residents complained to the police as it was echoing around the mountain, and one officer went to speak to someone at the gate of Valentino's chalet. But it didn't seem to make much difference, and the music just carried on.
