Showing your love comes in many ways and this year the Friends of Fairfax County Animal Shelter is giving the public a chance to show theirs in the form of professional photographs taken by pet photographer Mary O'Malley for their Sit. Stay. Smile! Valentines Day fundraiser.
Mary will use her creative flair to capture images of pets of all breeds, shapes and sizes as long as they are able to stay still long enough to look pretty. For those who have lots of pretty friends, they ask that you bring only three to the event. And so that everyone gets along well, leashes and crates are required when not posing
The donation for the photo is $25.00 and each atttendee will go home with one 5x7 photo to frame and show with pride. There will also be an opportunity to order and purchase other photos from the shoot on Mary's website several days after the event, but these sales will not go towards FFCAS.
To ensure that there is enough time and all photos are perfect, there is a limit of 40 attendees and registration is required. The event runs from 11:00am to 4:00pm and will be held at 4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
Valentines Day is about showing love and appreciation for those who are special in your life. And for many, pets are part of the family and special in their own way so why not show them off to the world!
