Valentine's Day is February 14 this year, and it falls on a Thursday, which gives many options for a romantic get-a-way. On February 14, from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. the boutique winery in Laguna Beach is having a special 4-course Valentine's dinner. The award winning wines, that will be included, use grapes that come mainly from the Napa and Sonoma Valleys right here in California, which are crushed, pressed, fermented barrel aged, blended and bottled at the Winery.
Guests arriving for dinner will be served Brut and Raspberry sparkling wines with an assortment of cheeses, bread and fruit, followed by a special Valentine's Day menu.

Bowers Museum will be holding an 'ode to romance' on Valentine's Day at 1:30 p.m. Romantic film scenes from Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, and Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall will be among the movies shown by Dr. Michael Berlin, a film expert, screenwriter and producer. Behind-the-scenes stories from some of the most beloved films will also be aired.
