Valentine's Day: What Love Means

Valentine's Day is around the corner. So many people get swept away with the idea that the holiday has a price, It does not.

You cannot buy real and true love. Valentine's Day means spending the day with the person you love and celebrating your love for each other. You do not need to go to a four star hotel to have an amazing Valentine's Day. A great Valentine's Day could be taking a walk around town and having deep conversations. It could be laughing together and telling yourself how lucky you are to have that person in your life.

The meaning of love itself has nothing to do with money. When you love someone you put their needs ahead of your own. You don't pressure them to do things they are not ready for. You don't check other people out when you are with them. You focus on that person before you focus on yourself.

Love itself means a lot of things. While gifts are nice it should not be the purpose of Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day love means spending the time with the person you love. Don't make all of the hype of Valentine's Day put a strain on your relationship. True love is rare so if you have it this year hold on to it and don't let anything get in the way of ruining it.
